এত নিরাপত্তার প্রয়োজন নেই, রোহিঙ্গা শিবিরে গিয়ে পুলিশকে অনুরোধ প্রিয়াঙ্কার

সুকুমার সরকার, ঢাকা: লন্ডনে রাজকীয় বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠান শেষ করে আপাতত বাংলাদেশের রোহিঙ্গা ক্যাম্পে প্রাক্তন বিশ্বসুন্দরী প্রিয়াঙ্কা চোপড়া। তাঁর এই সফর নিয়ে সমালোচনা, বিতর্ক অব্যাহত। কিন্তু রাষ্ট্রসংঘের শুভেচ্ছাদূত হিসেবে নিজের কাজ বেশ নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গেই পালন করছেন বলিউড অভিনেত্রী। সফরের দ্বিতীয় দিন অর্থাৎ মঙ্গলবার প্রিয়াঙ্কা পৌঁছে গিয়েছিলেন কক্সবাজারের টেকনাফে। রোহিঙ্গারা যে পথ দিয়ে বাংলাদেশে এসেছে সেই স্থান-সহ বিভিন্ন জায়গা ঘুরে দেখেছেন তিনি। তবে নিজের আশেপাশে নিরাপত্তারক্ষীদের এত ভিড় যেন ভাল লাগছিল না তাঁর। “প্লিজ, আমার জন্য এত নিরাপত্তার প্রয়োজন নেই। সামনে-পিছনে এত গাড়ি না থাকলেও চলবে। একটা গাড়ি থাকলেই চলবে।” পুলিশকে বলেন প্রিয়াঙ্কা।

অভিনেত্রী আসার খবর সব জায়গায় আগে থেকেই রটে যায়। তাই স্বাভাবিকভাবেই অতিথিদের গাড়ি এসে থামতে ভিড় করছেন রোহিঙ্গা শিবিরে থাকা মানুষজন। সঙ্গে আরও স্থানীয় অধিবাসীরাও আসছেন। যে তারকাকে সবাই দেখেছেন চলচ্চিত্রে, তাঁকে কাছ থেকে এক নজর দেখার জন্য সবাই আগ্রহী। আর সেই কারণেই তাঁর জন্য কঠোর নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। কিন্তু প্রিয়াঙ্কা যেন তেমনটা চাইছেন না। তাঁর সফরসূচিতে কিছু পরিবর্তনও আনা হয়েছে। তবে নিরাপত্তার কথা মাথায় রেখেই তা গোপন রাখছেন ইউনিসেফের স্থানীয় কর্মকর্তারা। প্রিয়াঙ্কা চোপড়া যেখানে যাচ্ছেন, তার আশপাশে সংবাদমাধ্যমের কোনও কর্মীকে যেতে দেওয়া হচ্ছে না।

For the Rohingya children, over 300,000, in the camps in Bangladesh this is the only space that allows them to be kids. These Child Friendly Spaces created by @unicef give kids access to art, music, dance, sport, and counselling etc. The space has often proved to be very therapeutic, helping these kids deal with the horrific situations they faced.. the @unicef aid workers work tirelessly to make sure these children find their spirit again. It doesn’t matter where a child is from or what his or her circumstances are… NO child deserves a life without hope for the future. The world needs to care. We need to care. এদিন সকালে কক্সবাজার-টেকনাফ মেরিন ড্রাইভ সড়কপথে প্রিয়াঙ্কা হাঁড়িখালী পৌঁছান। রোহিঙ্গারা যে পথে বাংলাদেশে অনুপ্রবেশ করছে, সেই স্থানে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় তাঁকে। গাড়ি থেকে নেমে সেই পথে তিনি কিছু সময় হাঁটাহাঁটি করেন। সেখান থেকে নাফ নদী আর মায়ানমার দেখা যায়। সেখানে গাছের নিচে দাঁড়িয়ে স্থানীয় শিশুদের সঙ্গে তিনি কথা বলেন, হাসাহাসি করেন, ছবি তোলেন। মায়ানমার থেকে কীভাবে রোহিঙ্গারা অনুপ্রবেশ করছে, তা প্রিয়াঙ্কার সামনে তুলে ধরা হয়। দোভাষীর মাধ্যমে অভিনেত্রী জেনে নেন শিবিরের শিশুরা পড়াশোনা করে কিনা, স্বাভাবিক চলাফেরা ও খেলাধুলা করে কিনা। তবে সেই সময় নিরাপত্তার কড়াকড়ি দেখে বেশ বিরক্তই হন প্রিয়াঙ্কা। নিরাপত্তা কমানোর জন্য পুলিশকে অনুরোধও জানান সঙ্গে সঙ্গে।

Across the river is Myanmar(Burma.) It’s empty now, but a few months ago this area, known as “Sabrang,” was filled with hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar. Their trip here was filled with many hardships and tremendous danger. Many of them made their journey on foot, walking for days through the hills, then floating across the Naf River or the Bay of Bengal on make shift boats…many of them injured, pregnant, elderly, etc. Their ordeal didn’t end here…after entering Bangladesh, they would often have to wait for days, sleeping in the open fields with no food or water, for aid workers to reach them. For a lot of the Rohingya children, this ordeal will leave them scarred, physically and emotionally, for the rest of their lives. ল্যাদা বিজিবি চৌকির কাছে ইউনিসেফ পরিচালিত শিশুদের খেলাধুলার জন্য তৈরি এলাকাও পরিদর্শন করেন। সেখান থেকে প্রিয়াঙ্কা উখিয়ার বালুখালীতে স্থাপিত অস্থায়ী রোহিঙ্গা শিবিরে যান। বৃহস্পতিবার পর্যন্ত কক্সবাজারে থাকবেন তিনি। বাংলাদেশে পা রাখার আগেই সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় জানিয়েছিলেন, “রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থী ক্যাম্পে যাচ্ছি। আমার ইনস্টাগ্রামে সেখানকার সব অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করব। আমাকে সেখানে অনুসরণ করতে থাকুন। এ বিষয়টি নিয়ে বিশ্বের ভাবা উচিত। ভাবতে হবে আমাদেরও।”
